The Poppy Fields of the Riogordo area, (espaňa,) bloom in spring, popping up all over the montaňa and in the wild flower meadows, they are one of the few shows of spring, remaining until the ground goes hard, and summers drought takes its hold.

Billions of years after these two galaxies collided one has collapsed by means of gravity back into a galactic form, the other one remains a vast stellar nursery giving birth to millions of stars.

Just 7K out and up from Orgiva (Alpujarra Espaňa,) you will find the old cave, it's last inhabitant was a locally famous poet hermit.
