Whilst in the service of the king the Matador dreams in his sleep, his mind flashes images of the world he knows, when he awakes he paints his dream.

The painting shows a mother and her newborn, one male one female. Above two spirits watch over the happening, they reflect each other representing the clapping action of flamenco dancers.

The Bull Worship Trilogy is a triptych of works on tiles, following in the Spanish tradition for tiled art work. Whilst these works are now in a private collection the artist will accept commissions and can provide work on a similar theme.
